After months of preparation, filming and developing, we saw our project with TUMI unfold at Pacific Place, Hong Kong this month.
Awethentic Studio came on board to help launch TUMI’s Fall 2018 Collection titled “Scandinavia,” at the “Scandinavian Lodge” which not only showcased the latest fall fashion but also the latest in technology.
The technology available at the TUMI Lodge includes the development of the TUMI CLUB App to activate the Augmented Reality trail and Avatar experience. We created six Augmented Reality trigger images that were placed around the venue that when triggered via the TUMI CLUB app, unlocked original video content filmed by our team.
For our newest tech experience, we offered customers at the TUMI Lodge our Avatar experience, a first for Hong Kong.
Our 3D scanner was brought in and was free for anyone to try during the 2 week period and only takes a few minutes to accurately scan each person. This technology allowed users avatars to be taken to the TUMI flagship store in New York as great social media takeaway, as well as a personalised luggage tag that triggers a users avatar to dance right on the tag!
